I know how taboo something so natural can still be in today's world. As we wind up summer vacations and get ready for holiday travel in a few months, I thought I would send this link out to all my BF girlfriends who just had new additions to their families.
It's called the "License to Breastfeed."
It's a small card that you carry with you. The idea is to print a few copies and have them on hand when you get those "hey, what the heck are you doing?" stares at restaurants, and so forth. If you are actually asked to leave, they are great reminders for the owners/managers/or whoever is "in charge" that there are laws that protect a mother's right to breastfeed her child. It also gives a brief overview of the law in various states.
