It's that time of year where we are saying goodbye to many things. First, it was Poppy & Sweet Pea's swim classes that ended this past Monday. Now, it's Poppy's Daisy Troop.
Poppy was in her first Girl Scout Troop and was super excited to share the experience with her best friend from preschool; Miss T. Each month she looked forward to the meetings and seeing Miss T since the two were at different elementary schools. Each month she got to make a craft, learn about many important things like recycling, and earning her "petals" in the process. We had so much fun watching her flower "grow" on her Daisy Vest!
Now it's complete. She just earned her last petal - violet for "being a sister to every Girl Scout." When our troop leader asked each girl what she enjoyed most about coming to the Daisy meetings each month, Poppy said: "Just being here." Isn't that so true and what we all should be thankful for?
Way to go Poppy! I love you:).
